Your points on confirmation bias are spot on here. They are why we need more regulation on these platforms because we can’t trust people to police themselves. We lose them down flat earth rabbit holes and they’re basically gone forever. Society becomes more polarized as a result.

We also need the ability to own and control what data companies have on us (i.e., peek inside those giant data centers you included).
