And to me it's related to this question you're asking. If Hamas (or any other terrorist group like Hezbollah) poses an existential threat to your home - as in, it's their express goal to destroy you, and they'll even use sexual violence to do it - you would do whatever it takes to protect yourself and your family.

As I said in my last response, Hamas hides amongst its population. They don't adhere to international law by refusing to wear uniforms. They leave their dense population in open air while they hide underground.

Israel must be more targeted in their efforts to defend themselves, but you cannot deny them the right to try.
