When people throw around the “genocide” label for Israel, I simply ask - what do you call what Hamas did on October 7th? Where they intentionally targeted innocent Israeli civilians. What do you make of their charter that aims to wipe the only Jewish state off the map? Is Israel not entitled to some right of self defense?

Context is necessary in almost all situations and if you’re incapable of seeing any nuance, especially in regards to the complex history of the region and the plight of both Jews and Palestinians, you’re not try hard enough.
