Totally agree with your perspective - we are so close to a ceasefire, but instead of promoting that more, American college students (and professional protestors among them) are selfishly drawing attention to themselves by damaging property and occupying buildings on campus. It's very damaging to an otherwise noble cause in ending the violence and bringing peace to the region.
