Reddit is reaching the next stage of any mature social media company. Determining how to monetize better and preparing for the inevitable IPO.

The company owns the free labor from its users and mods. They could care less about the culture that created all of that great, free content.

Unfortunately I don't see the mods winning this one. Reddit will figure out a way to replace them.
