Partisanship is about unwavering advocacy for one party, side, or cause even in the face of compelling evidence. Ask any political scientist worth their salt.

And if you looked at the polling evidence instead of simply relying on what Bowman and his cohorts allege, Bowman was losing long before AIPAC delivered the final funding blow.

Also, I live in NYC. Bowman alienated a huge part of his base by excusing Hamas, misrepresenting what happened on Oct. 7th, and then advocating against a two-state solution for Israel/Palestine. Hard to win on that messaging when a large part of your base is more moderate and yes, Jewish.

That’s not partisanship, but political reality, just as how MAGA extremism doesn’t sell in many urban and suburban centers.
