Not sure I’m ready to rule out Tesla yet. The data they have from self-driving alone is likely far more voluminous than any other car company. So competitors may be able to compete short term, but it will be hard to win the war unless Musk sabotages it himself. Big “if”, but as you said, I wouldn’t bet against Musk.
