I should have also noted that he didn’t even invent the name or idea for Tesla! I hear what you’re saying, but would emphasize that few people could have probably upended the space industry (while NASA was shutting it down) and actually made electric cars a thing in a gas guzzling world, whether they engineered the product or not. Musk may not be a rocket scientist or mechanical engineer, but he can at least speak the language to a degree.
