I agree with your point about leftist extremists and human rights, but only to a certain extent. Much of that advocacy infringes on rights of ordinary people (for example, defund the police making daily life much less safe, protecting homeless encampments at all costs hurt local businesses, and the list goes on). Even if the intentions are more pure than MAGA, the execution often detrimentally impacts people in its own way.
