I’m not giving Israel and particularly the Netanyahu regime a pass by any means. But nothing justifies deliberately targeting civilians, particularly when Hamas knew what the Israeli response was likely to be. For many on the left to support this brutality or excuse it, they’ve revealed what they truly value: not civil liberties or human rights, but their specific worldview of oppressed v oppressors.

Now that’s black and white.
