Completely disagree. I’ve lived in a number of cities and visited many more around the world, and there’s no place like New York City. The energy, the ambition, and the people from all over the world create a unique combination of beauty amidst the chaos and grime. It has problems just like any other city, which are often exacerbated because media loves to sensationalize any of them, but to completely dismiss it in the manner you have is completely unfair and untrue.

And to be clear, this story is not me complaining, but instead putting a positive perspective on a new program that is controversial and understandably so. Reasonable minds can and should differ. New York City has gone through many evolutions throughout its history so to say that the people cannot affect change in one of the greatest cities this world has ever seen is frankly ignorant of that history.

But thank you for reading and I hope moving forward you can look at New York City with more of an open mind.
