As a millennial who came of age with the internet at my fingertips, many of us were warned by our parents not to publicize ourselves on the internet. It could hurt future employment, others could hold it against us, etc. I’ve slowly had to come around to feeling comfortable just using my real name on sites like Medium let alone doing everything you explain in beautiful detail - the work stories, life lessons, and teachable moments. There’s serious vulnerability not just in sharing but in the preconditioning of my brain not to publicize myself. Thank you for empowering me and everyone to feel comfortable doing so.
